The Hampton Inn exterior renovation design is by Scala Architecture firm in Washington DC. Mid Atlantic Contractors completed the hotel elevation renovation of the four-story, 153 room, R1 project in Dumfries/Quantico, Northern Virginia. The building improvement includes a new Exterior  Insulation Finishing System (EIFS) with a stone base façade, new cornice build-out, commercial roof replacement with EPDM (ethylene propylene diene terpolymer), and exterior lighting replacement.

In addition to the structural and architectural design implementation, Mid Atlantic Contractors made enhanced modifications to the exterior porte-cochere (covered entrance.)

The Hampton Inn Dumfries/Quantico exterior renovation was completed on schedule in 2018.
